Yuvan Shankar Raja’s score Yethavathu Sei in Billa 2 is going to rock when released. Sources in Kollywood say that Yuvan’s tunes for this item number are simply mesmerizing and Meenakshi Dixit’s movements for it along with Ajith will have the audiences glued to this song when screened.

The song has already been shot and director Chakri Toleti is happy with the outcome. Meenakshi hopes that she can establish herself in Kollywood after Billa 2’s release.

Mayakkam Enna will be released on November 24 in USA and Canada. G.K. Media which has distributed movies like Kaavalan, Boss Engira Baskaran, Aadukalam and Mankatha in USA has bought the rights for this film as well.

Vithagan Movie Preview Online 2011

After his much talked about performance in Aayirathil Oruvan in a significant role, Parthiban is back with a movie playing the lead. Vithagan is also directed by him and produced by Manickam Narayanan for his Seventh Channel Entertainment. With a tagline, ‘With a Gun’, Parthiban ventures into the male lead territory of shouldering a full length film, hoping for good results.

Vithagan is the story of a police officer, who is uncouth in his ways, and a Christian girl, played by Poorna falling for each other. Poorna falls hook, line and sinker for Parthiban while the latter shows little interest in her. In many ways, Vithagan is a love story with good mix of entertainment. Parthiban will ensure that his dialogues are witty and the scenes are well crafted, hopefully.

Along with Parthiban and Poorna, Vithagan’s cast includes Milind Soman and Vincent Ashokan among others. Parthiban’s son Raaki also has made a cameo in the movie, dancing in a song. His daughter Keerthana has done costume designs. Milind Soman will be voiced by Gautham Menon. Earlier, Vadivelu was supposed to don the role of a comedian but that fell through.

Vithagan has Joshua Sridhar’s music and a couple of interesting songs are already starting to make a mark among filmy music lovers. Arya and Amala Paul’s Going To Dubai

Vettai’s shooting is happening in and around Chennai now and director Lingusamy is planning to shoot a song with Arya and Amala Paul in Dubai. The team will leave for Dubai on November 20th states a press release. Soon after their return from Dubai, yet another song will be shot in Hyderabad for which a set costing about 60 lakhs has been erected.

Soon after these songs are shot, the post production work will begin so that the film can hit the screens in December.

Vettai is directed by Lingusamy and stars Arya, Madhavan, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul in the lead roles.

Surya Next To Rajinikanth in business

Everybody in Kodambakkam is talking about Maatraan’s business and the record it is expected to set inthe next few days.
Industry Sources revealed that the family close to TN ruling government is now in talks with AGS to buy Maattrraan domestic rights for 70 to 80 Crores. AGS already sold Maattrraan overseas rights have been already sold for Rs. 12 Crores and Telugu rights through Suriya for Rs. 17 Crores. If the domestic rights sell for more than Rs. 70 Crores, Maattrraan will become the 2nd movie in South India to have done business for more than Rs. 100 Crores closely behind Enthiran.

While verifying this with an experienced insider in the trade, he was not surprised that Maattraan is scorching hot in the trade. He quoted as a matter of fact that “the ceiling amount of a Star’s previous movie becomes the floor for his next in the Tamil Industry”. Given that logic, Suriya’s 7am Arivu even after receiving mixed reviews from audience and trashed by popular critics, the movie is expected to collect more than Rs.70 Crores and Suriya previous superhit Singham also collected roughly in that ballpark.

KV Anand who is gunning for a hattrick blockbuster also collected roughly around 70 Crores for modestly budgeted Ayan and KO. Our source concluded by saying Rs.70 Crores may sound shockingly high for outsiders and record keepers. Given the positive buzz about the movie and from an economic perspective, distributors feel that it is safe to bet Rs.100 Crores on this winning team.

To course the trajectory, total business of Suriya’s previous movies were sold for under 20 Crores for Vaaranam Aayiram and Ayan. Aadhavan and Singham business were around Rs. 35 Crores. 7am Arivu was around Rs. 60 Crores(incl. Telugu).

Vijay’s heroine Kajal Aggarwal in Murugadoss Film

After Mumbai tabloids went to town that Sonam Kapoor has jumped on to the bandwagon of Bollywood actors to dabble in films down South, here comes an announcement from director AR Murugadoss.

It’s official that Kajal Aggarwal is the lucky one to be Vijay’s heroine in Murugadoss directed next film, which will start rolling from December.

Kajal who is currently working on Suriya’s KV Anand directed Maatran is also doing two big projects in Tollywood.

The film tentatively titled, Maalai Nerathu Mazhaithuli is produced by Vijay’s dad S.A. Chandrashekar with camera by internationally reputed cinematographer Santosh Sivan.

This action adventure will be set in Mumbai and will be Vijay’s summer 2012 release

Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa Hindi Trailer Ek Deewana Tha Movie

Here is the trailer to Gautham Menon’s much expected Ek Deewana Tha. The flick is a Hindi remake of the 2010 hitVinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (VTV) which released to a rushing crowd down South, back in 26th February 2010. Gauthamplans to release the Hindi remake version in the Bollywood market on the 13th of January according to latest reports. The hindi remake will have Amy Jackson (Madrasapattinam fame) and one Prateik replacing the hit Trisha and Karthipair.Isai Puyal AR Rahman has composed a marvel worth a listen for VTV and is busy touching up the songs for the Hindi version titled Ek Deewana Tha.
