Its time for wedding bells for another Bollywood couple - Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza - who are planning to tie the knot on February 4, 2012.

Both the actors were seeing each other for the past 9 years and will now take their relationship to the next level in 2012.

According to a close relative, it will be a low key wedding and only close relatives and friends will be invited.

"We've been told to keep ourselves free from the third to the fifth of February. The wedding has been finalized for the fourth. They have decided the venue as well. Hyatt Regency has been booked," a friend said.

It is also reported that both, Genelia and Ritesh, got engaged on on September 11, 2011 in a ceremony where only the families of both were present.

Ritesh (32) and Genelia (24) have started preparing their guest list for the wedding. The Bachchans, Telugu star Rana Daggubati, Ram Gopal Varma, Imran Khan, and other South Indian actors are in the guest list of Genelia while Ritesh is planning to invite Karan Johar, Boman Irani, Sajid Khan and others.

According to the reports, Genelia will continue her Bollywood career even after her marriage.

Both of them first met on the set of Tujhe Meri Kasam (2003), Ritesh's Bollywood debut film. They have been dating each other since then. 

Aishwarya Rai’s delivery update Ash checks into hospital

Baby B on its way as Ash checks into hospitalMumbai: Latest buzz from tinsel town has it that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has checked in the Seven Hills Hospital for delivery of her baby.

Bollywood sources confirmed that Aishwarya was admitted to the hospital in the wee hours of Monday morning.

There has been no official word from the Bachchan family as yet. Apparently, Aishwarya`s father-in-law and legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan tweeted a few hours ago: "A day of expectation .. but another day ! The Lord has his ways and they are most special .. we wait !!"

Excitement over the soon-to-be-born Baby B reached fever pitch on Saturday when Aishwarya Rai Bachchan appeared at the Seven Hills Hospital, fueling speculation from all quarters that the baby would be born on 14th November i.e., on Children’s Day!

However, the day passed without any happy news. On Sunday, Amitabh Bachchan’s tweet read “The family gathers together from all over as we wait for the `arrival` .. Greatest joy for me - a full house and the chahel – pahel.” 

Full string from Harris Jeyaraj On Nanban Music

Despite his hectic schedule for his musical tour, Harris Jeyaraj is keen to complete the scores for Shankar’s Nanban. While Shankar is on his foot to complete the film at the earliest, Harris is at rapid pace to finish the songs. Actually Shankar intended to launch the audio of the film during the first week of December. This made Harris to expedite the songs before going on for the background score.

The mood is upbeat in the camps of Shankar as he is grabbing work from the technicians on post-production. Under these circumstances, Shankar has double mind to put off the release of Telugu version, 3 Rascals. He is more confined to the Tamil version first so that he can take leave off the shooting. He was quoted as saying that after finishing Endhiran, he straightaway proceeded with Nanban. This was in contrast to his habit of enjoying a long gap between movies.

Sandhya and Santhanu the Love Birds


There is this news which is spreading widely, that Sandhya and Bhagyaraj’s son and actor Santhanu are in love and they are going to get married soon. Also many said that is the reason Sandhya’s film sare not doing well, she has lost her market and stays distracted.

When asked Sandhya about this, she said, I am getting lots of offers.But I am not accepting all of them. I am only selecting the films that have good story line. Also she adds, there is no way that i lose my position in Tamil Cinema. Recently i have been concentrating more on Malayalam films.
There is continuous news that I am in love with Santhanu. We are good friends and there is no love between us. When the time comes, my parents will decide about my marriage.

Vijay’s ‘Appidu podu’ goes to Bollywood


Vijay’s charbuster song ‘Appidu podu…’ from Gilli, which drew the national attention a few years ago, is going to Bollywood. The popular song is now being retuned for a forthcoming Hindi film, which is produced by actor Sonu Sood.
Sources say that Sonu Sonu, who danced for ‘Kalasala…’ with Silambarasan and Mallika Sherawat in Osthi, has acquired the rights of the song. He has assigned the original composer, Vidya Sagar to retune the number to suit the taste of the Bollywood audience.
Sonu Sood has confirmed the news and has said that the song has impressed him. Talking about roping in Mallika Sherawat for the song, the popular on-screen baddie claims that their chemistry worked well in ‘Kalasala’, which made him to rope her in for the number.
The original song was sung by Krishna Kumar Kunnath and Anuradha Sriram and the Hindi version would be crooned by Mika and Sunidhi Chauhan. Vidya Sagar has already started reworking on the song and he is reportedly retaining some parts of ‘Appidu podu…’.

Kamal on his acting

Kamal Haasan is an accomplished actor, no doubt. The star has won several awards and accolades for his acting skills and many in the film industry consider him to be the best till date. Speaking about his acting, the star said that he makes sure to act only when the camera starts rolling whereas in real life he never does that.

Kamal, while speaking at a book launch function, said that acting in real life is not his cup of tea though many do that. He added that his thirst to learn more was probably because he has not completed his school education. Kamal wondered if he would have this craving to gain more knowledge if he had completed his education.

Suriya taking a small break to Africa?


After working hard for months without even taking a small break, Suriya seems to be in a mood to holiday. “It has been a long time sine I had been out with my family members. Every Sunday I would promise to be with Jyothika and kids, but unable to honour it due to professional commitments,” he says.
Quiz him on his favourite destination with family, pat comes the reply from the ’7aum Arivu’ actor. “No doubt it’s Africa. I always wanted to take Jo, Diya and Dev there since they like animals a lot. Also, they love to see historical places.”
Suriya’s interest for Africa was ignited when he was shooting there for KV Anand’s ‘Ayan’ a couple of years ago. “It is a beautiful and quite unassuming place. A safari in the deep jungles of Africa would be a perfect treat for my wife and kids. Hopefully we would go there soon.”
On his forthcoming venture ‘Maatraan’, he says, “It will once again be a commercial movie with a difference from KV Anand. I am so happy to work with him and would love to do so again and again. The shooting is nearing completion and an official announcement on my next will be made soon.”
